About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

144 Visa in Shanghai in this Case?

I will be flying from the US to Japan (staying a few nights) then to Korea (A) - SH (B) - US (C). In this case my country A is Korea. Does this work?
