About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

I will arrive in Guangzhou and i will get the 144hrs. Then i would like to visit Macao.

Can i exit the Guangdong province with a train ticket?Or any idea how to get Macao?

Currently there is no 144 hours twov in Guangzhou and you cannot leave by land.

Are u sure is not allowed for italian citizen to get the 144hrs ? Because in air china website they say Canton is included also for 144hrs visa.
i want to be sure before buy a ticket. thank you

They have been saying its coming for a while now. As of right now air only entry and exit and 72 hour max

What about if i get the 24hours arriving in CAN by plane and go out by train? ( italian citizen)

Yes, you can enjoy the 24 hours visa free policy arriving in CAN by plane and then go out by train. The time starts the scheduled landing.

You would of course need to have the train ticket in your hand when you check-in for your flight to CAN, which can be a quite a problem. Leaving CAN by land on a 24 hours twov cannot usually be relied upon.
