We are travelling on New Zealand and Australian passports from Hong Kong to Beijing

We are travelling on New Zealand and Australian passports from Hong Kong to Beijing on the high speed train. Then spending 3days in Beijing before flying out to Thailand. Can we get the 144hr twov exemption?

If you would arrive in Beijing West Railway Station, you can get the 144h twov after arrival.

The high speed rail does not qualify for 144 hours transit without visa, unfortunately, because the immigration process takes place in Hong Kong and not in Beijing.
