About:China Visa on Arrival

I want to travel to either zhuhai or Shenzhen from Hong Kong is this possible without a visa?

I have a UK passport. What is the likelihood of being allowed to enter without entry permit? Thanks

I've asked a similar question today. You can find general info on VOA page here -
but I've heard there are new requirements for regular visas which involve meeting up in person at your local embassy and providing fingerprints - not sure if this will effect processing times at Shekou Port if arriving from Hong Kong.

Embassies/visa centers do not collect fingerprints as they are collected by immigration directly. There are machines right before you go through immigration and you have to "self-collect" your prints on these machines, then go through immigration so the collected prints will be verified by immigration agents.
