where do i get a 24-hour transit visa in chongqing airport?

Hi, we arrive airport terminal 3 at 11:30pm and i have known that you can get the transit visa in the airport if the layover time is less than 24hours. Our stopver is 22hrs and we have free hotel from Hainan airlines... would anyone know where we need to go to get this type of visa there? Need to know in advance as I don’t want to be left behind if passengers queue up for the hotel service..We come from HK going to L.A. thank you very much

If you won't exit the airport, you don't need to do anything. But if you wish to the airport, you need to go to the border inspection counter to fill an Arrival/Departure Card and get the temporary entry permit stamp or sticker.
