About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

TPE to PVG then SHA to HKG

Hello, I'm planning to travel from Taipei to Shanghai PVG in January, stay for 5 days then leave from SHA to Hong Kong. Would this itinerary qualify for this 144h Exemption? I'm a Canadian passport holder.
