Travel to mainland China then to Hong Kong

I am flying from Heathrow London to Beijing then spending 3 nights there, then getting the high speed train to Shanghai, spending the days there and then getting the high speed train to Hong Kong and then flying from Hong Kong back to London, there are two of us traveling can I get a group visa for both of us? also would the L-tourism be ok to travel internally and then into Hong Kong?.
