About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Malaysian Transiting at Xiamen

Dear sir/mdm, I am holding a Malaysian passport, and will be travelling from Singapore to Vancouver, transiting in Xiamen. My ticket is a through ticket, and the transit will be 3hr only. Do I need entry permit?

I am worried, because I have read how people are turned away by immigration officers because they did not have the visa for transit. Thank you.

As I know, you are not eligible for the free transit in Xiamen. You need to apply for a visa for the trip beforehand.
