About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly and Cruise out and in to Shanghai

Hi
We fly to Shanghai from Korea, then board a cruise two days later to Japan for 5 days, then return (on the cruise) to Shanghai where we fly that same day back to Korea.
Do we qualify for the 144-day free entry?

You don't qualify for a 144-hour twov if you return to Shanghai.

If your route is Korea-Shanghai-Japan-Shanghai-Korea with no other stops in mainland China it should qualify for 144 hours visa-free transit twice at Shanghai.
