About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

I am NZL Passport holder, have visited Shenzhen before, arriving on the train from HK.

My intension is to visit Shenzhen again... Is the VOA implemented for Guangdong, or do I need to fly first to HK as before. Before, I had my return ticket from Auckland to HK. Has anything changed? Regards, Stefan

5 days VOA is different from the 144-hour free visa. The former is only right for the whole Shenzhen. 144-hour free visa can allows you to travel in the whole Guangdong Province. If you want 144-hour free visa, you need to prepare the air ticket from SZ to the third country in advance and cannot return Hong Kong. If you want 5 days VOA, just apply for the visa at Huanggang, Luohu, Shekou, Fuyong Port and no limit to your next itinerary.
