Visa for Tourism

Hi,

I am Aamna Qureshi, and I am working at British Council Karachi. I want to visit China for tourism in january 2019. Acutally I h want to spend my annual leaves over there. I have a couple of friends studying in China Academy of Arts. As mentioned above for visiting visa one should be a part of a group but I want to apply as an individual. I'll be spending not more than 13 days in China. Ist it possible to get chinese entry permit for tourism as I already have friends studying there.
