About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Am I required to collect my baggage during 24 hour transit?

if I am leaving the beijing airport? Or can I leave it with the airline?

Please contact with the airlines to ask if your luggage will be delivered to the final destination directly. If yes, you don’t need to claim it after arrival. If you need to collect it, you can leave it within the airport.
