About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Less than 24 hours with overnight stay in hotel

We will arrive in Shanghai on the 4th of January. We have reservations in a Shanghai hotel for the night. We will board a cruise ship on the 5th of January. Do we qualify for a 24 hour transit G or do we need the 72 hour TWOV?

If your layover time is less than 24 hours, you qualify for the 24h twov in Shanghai.
