What is a minimum duration period for a Work z and Residence permit? I only have 6 months left to work but my residence permit/visa are expiring in a month. Can I get a visa/residence permit for 6 months?

You can try to extend your residence permit at the exit and entry administration. For how long it can be extended depends on the bureau and the reason you why you want it extended.
