About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Two Connections in China

I will be traveling from LAX-Hiroshima with connecting flights in Beijing (14 hour layover) and Dalian (1 hour layover).

1. I'm assuming I'm eligible for the TWOV program since I will be in China for less than 24 hours total, correct?

2. If #1 is true, will I be allowed to leave the airport at any point during my layover with the 24 TWOV?

#1 and #2 should be ok. There is always a chance you can be required to stay in Beijing airport but the odds of that happening there are low compared to Shanghai.
