And thinking of taking metro to Wulin Square station.I understand from research that the Z card is a good card for tourist to use for metro, bus, bicycle etc. However, am I right to say that Z card is not available for purchase at Hangzhou East metro station? So I will have to use cash for this first metro ride?Furthermore, am I right to say that there is a need to pay CNY25 maintenance fee (nonrefundable) for each Z card and there is a specific place to do the refund?If so, then I feel that it is rather troublesome to get the Z card and I should stick to using cash for public transport?Thank you. :)

Yes, you cannot get the Z Card at East Railway Station and you have to use cash for the metro ride.If your card keep  when you refund, you can get the CNY25 back. If you just stay for several days, I think you don't need to get the card.
