About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

Traveling through China. What type of visa would I need? just transit G or a Tourist (L)

Hi,
I am flying into Qingdao from San Francisco for only two hours then flying to Kunming for the day and would like to leave the airport, I then fly to Chengdu for a day and would like to leave the airport again, I then arrive in Thailand. And on my way back to San Francisco after two weeks in Thailand I stop in Shanghai for a day then fly to San Francisco.

You apply for any one of the transit G or tourist L type for that trip. No need to worry.

You want to apply for L visa before you leave the USA. If you have US passport with at least one year remaining you can get multiple entry visa valid for 10 years.
