About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I’m in month 22 of a 24 L Visa. Have set up a legal WFOE. I would like a Residence Permit now.

US Businessman, age 61, traveling Mainland looking to develop business. Have successfully established a Shanghai WFOE ( Licence, Bank Account, Chop, Certificates) and I am the owner of it. Could I apply/receive a 5 year Residency Permit and no longer have to step out of and back into Mainland every 90 days. If necessary or helpful, I could arrange for an invitation letter from a legal Chinese company or a letter from a citizen who is my girlfriend. Also, I have passed a Chinese medical exam and have those papers. But as a US foreigner I am unfamiliar with the requirements or the process to receive the Residency Permit. I’d like to settle into a life here.

If you want to apply for long term Chinese residence permit, it could be possible. You are advised to go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire the detailed information.
