About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

North Korea/China Visa

Hi,
I am a EU passport holder and arrive in Beijing (from Brisbane) on February 8th before leaving to North Korea (by plane) on the 14th. Am I eligible for the 144h twov?
After that I'll take the train back from Pyongyang to Beijing and I will arrive at Beijing Railway Station at 08:40am on February 20th. Am I eligible for the 24h transit visa if I leave the country by plane (to Taipei) on the same day? When do the 24h start? At the border or at the railway station in Beijing?

Thx

You are eligible for the 144h twov in Beijing. The Beijing West Railway Station is the only way you can take advantage of the TWOV by train, so you cannot get the 24h twov at the Beijing railway station on the way back.
