About:China Student Visa

I already have an X1 visa, can I apply for X2 to extend my stay in China?

I am a German student and currently doing my internship in China.
I already have an X1, can I apply for X2 to extend my stay in China or is there any other way that I can extend my stay in China?

You can try to extend your residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you can stay in mainland China for longer time.
