About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

60 hours in Shanghai transit with bookings from different airlines

Hi,

I will fly into Shanghai with return ticket with airline A from Europe.

After a stay of 60 hour or so in Shanghai, I will use another/different airline B to fly into Philippines.

Would this qualify me for 72-hours free transit in Shanghai please? On the way back to Europe, I plan to do the same - transit Shanghai (probably 40 hours stay) visa free from Philippines - Shanghai - Europe.

Thank you.
John

You are eligible for the 144h twov in Shanghai in both ways. No need to worry. Nice trip.
