About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa through shanghai. I am an American

flying on chi a eastern from kuala lumpur with 7 hour stoo in shanghai continuing on to JFK in New York.

Can i get the free 24 hour twov? .only need maybe 4 hours before i need to be back at airport

You can do the 24 hour Transit however it's up to immigration discretion whether you will be granted entry permit to leave the airport. Under 8 hour stop odds are slim so be prepared to stay inside airport
