About:China Visa Exemption

6 day stay Shanghai - do I need visa

I have a UK passport but am an Australian resident. For a 6 day stay in Shanghai do I need a visa?

You need a visa for a 6-day visit to Shanghai, but you do not if you are transiting Shanghai to a third country, with no other stops in mainland China. Only your passport is relevant, and it must be a "British Citizen" passport.
