About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am Canadian citizen and travelling through Pudong Shanghai international airport.

My layover between the connecting flight is 21 hours. Can i get transit visa so i can night stay in hotel near the airport.

If your travel route would country A-Shanghai-country B, you can get the free transit in Shanghai, and maybe you could stay at a hotel.
