About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Free Visa Italy Mil-Shg-Hk-Mil

Good morning from Italy,
I would like to know if I’m eligible to free Visa 144 Hours transit with a flight booked with Cathay as follow:

Milan-Shanghai (via Hong Kong) on 23rd November. Flights: Milan-Hong Kong (transit) Hong Kong - Shanghai

Shanghai-Hong Kong on 26th November

Hong Kong-Milan on 3rd December.

My doubt is that I will be in transit on the same place of 3rd destination (Hong Kong) Does it counts or since it’s only transit I could apply for free transit 144 yours Visa?

Thanks a lot for your reply

You need a visa or different flights. Hong Kong-Shanghai-Hong Kong isn’t a transit.
