multiple entry-work permit visa

i need to come back to india every 1-2 months for a couple of days. so if my invitation letter mentions about multiple entries, then is it possible to get the same in the visa being issued. i will be accompanied with my mother and baby, what type of entry permit they both require, as i want both to have a multiple entries?
