The following documents are needed:
1. The original and a photocopy of an Invitation Letter by a Duly Authorized Unit, or a Confirmation Letter of Invitation issued by an authorized Chinese agency, and Employment Permit for Foreigners in the People's Republic of China" issued by the Labor Ministry;
2. your valid visa with a validity of at least 9 months and enough blank pages;
3. visa application form (V2011A and V2011B), with your recent photos on it;
4. The original medical certificate issued by a state-run medical organization and the corresponding photocopy;
5. your resident permit;
6.Other documents required by the officials.

To remind you, you need to apply for a residence permit at the local public security authorities within 30 days of entry into China.

Good luck!
