About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit. I live in Adelaide (Australia) and want to visit Shanghai

then on to Bangkok using free visa. There are no straight flights to Shanghai so have to transit in either Singapore or Hong Kong. Am I eligble

If the trip would be AUSTRALIA-Singapore or HK-Shanghai-Bangkok, you can get the free transit in Shanghai. Nice trip.
