About:China Family Reunion Visa

Q1 visa. I’m from Ireland.

I married my Chinese girlfriend in HK last weekend...I went to get the Q1. I had all the papers necessary..they told me I had to go back to Ireland to apply for this Q.....can you shed any light on this? Every other person I asked before we got married said...getting this visa in HK would be no,problem...we’ll, it’s a big one, Bc now I can’t get back in the country...help

Hi, I think maybe you could apply for Q1 type from HK. But if you are told to apply from your home country by the consular officers, you may need to go back to your country for that.
