About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

Boarding in Shanghai and overnighting onboard...may do a 1 night PRE hotel.

Following ports are Xiamen, then Hong Kong. Onto Vietnam, ending in Bangkok.

Do I need to obtain a Chinese Visa?

Yes, you need to apply for a Chinese visa in advance.

If your ship can leave China within 24 hours, you can get the 24 hours free visa. Or you have to apply for a Chinese visa.
