About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi! Can I qualify 144hours, if I fly A and C beeing same country?

I want to visit Shanghai All in Print exhibition between 24-29 October 2018 next week, I can fly from Germany to Shanghai on 24 , visit the exhibition. And fly back to Germany in 29. Can I apply for 144h twov, A and C country being the same ? Depending on this answer I will book or no the fly next week , please let me know, thank you in advance !

It obviously doesn't qualify for transit without visa, because it's not a transit. You need a visa or different flights.

Vincent, thank you for your answer, I was expecting to be like that. Instead , you gave me option, in fact you mention about different flights, so if I fly with Lufthansa from germany to Shanghai

And leave Shanghai ro Doha-Qatar with Qatar airlines , it is acceptable if initial and final destination it is Romanao?

The stop immediately before Shanghai and immediately after Shanghai are the only things that matter. Separate tickets and/or carriers are fine. Outbound on Lufthansa and return on Qatar would work. Lufthansa and Swiss or Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines are popular combinations for transiting China from Germany. Stopping in Hong Kong once is also common. Remember you must not have any other stops in mainland China apart from Shanghai.
