About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I apply for the 72 hours free visa in this case?

Planning to make a tour Europe-Beijing-Kuala Lumpur-Male-Europe and stop for 48 - 72 hours in Beijing. Is this considered as 72 hours free transit? Or should I apply for regular entry permit? Thank you.

As long as those are the only cities you land in then this qualifies for 144 hour transit without Visa in Beijing.
