About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

UK-Beijing-Guangzhou

We need to go to Guangzhou on 22.10.18 for 6days but we haven’t got visa. Is it true that we can go to Beijing get 6day visa and go to Guangzhou then fly back to Beijing and back to UK?

You can't do that. 144-hour permits do not allow you to move around in Mainland China. Your only option tp do this without a visa is to fly LON-CAN-third country-LON if staying there for less than 3 days or LON-CAN-third country-CAN-LON if you want to stay for more than 3 days.
