About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

I have a 1h 30m layover between connecting flights on Air China.

I arrive from Newark to Beijing on Air China flight 820 at 14:30 and then have a connecting flight on Air China flight to Guangzhou 1365 at 16:00. I'm not checking any bags, only bringing carry on.

I'm concerned it will not be enough time to make my flight. Is this sufficient time or do I have options to make sure I don't miss my connecting flight?

Well, it is an international to domestic transfer both in T3. Generally speaking, you need to have 2 to 2.5 hours to catch the next flight. Thus flight scheduled at 16:00 will be tight. If possible, you are advised to change the schedule of your next flight.
