About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I use 144-Hour Visa Free transit Exemption?

Canadian Citizen. Currently I am in China on a single entry X2 Visa valid until beginning of January. I'm looking to leave China and go to the Phillipines in Decemeber for 10 days and return to Beijing for 5 days (Decemeber 17 - 21) and then fly to North America. Would I be able to use the 144-Hour Free Transit Exemption?
