About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

9 hour layover, arrive at Beijing Capital Airport at 0600.

Hello,
I'm returning home traveling from Bangkok to USA. I would like to stay air side at the hourly hotel or a sleep pod. My question is, since I plan on staying in the airport do I have to go through immigration?
