Do EU citizens need a visa for Shanghai.

We are Irish EU citizens and I’m planning a 5 night trip to Shanghai with my wife and son. My son will compete at the A series karate championships. Will we need a visa for this trip?

Visa is required when china is your destination. There is 6 day exemption if your next country stop is a different one than the once you landed in Shanghai from.
