About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From Norway to Shanghai to Germany via Amsterdam

Hi! I plan to travel from Norway with a 144 hour stop in Shanghai to Germany. So far, it looks fine for me, but my best flight connections to and from Shanghai both travel via Amsterdam. So would that still be covered from this visa?

It doesn't matter where you start or end, what matter is landing before and after the Chinese city. Netherlands > China > Netherlands needs a Tourist (L) Visa

If you have a Norwegian passport, you won’t qualify for 144 hours transit without visa whatever your route.

Thanks for the answers! I have a German passport, and shall plan one of the routes not via Netherlands.
