About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Traveling to China for 72hrs?

Hello, I am traveling to China from NYC from Thursday’s night (arriving in Beijing on Friday afternoon) and leaving Beijing on Sunday afternoon. Am I Eligible for the 72 hour visa?

You're eligible only if you are in transit to a third country (not USA and not China) and if your passport is from one of the 53 qualifying countries. You can't fly USA-China-USA without a visa.
