About:China Private Visit Visa

Can I work with S1 visa?

I've an approved S1 to enter China in a couple of days. However my home company would like me to continue my work in China despite my relocation. What can I do now to apply for a work permit when I arrived in China? Do i need to go to the nearest country to make the switch of my visa?

You can try to find a job in China, and then ask your employer to provide you the work permit. After that, you can try to change your current S1 type into work Z type from the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China.
