transit visa in pekin

Question

I'm flight from CDG Paris France to Peking on Portuguese passportI arrive  6.30 am 24/12/18 .I need to collect my luggage and go thru costumers and I have flight same day 4pm to Sydney Australia please tell me if I need visa to do this flight connection thanks

You should have no problem in PEK. That will also be more than enough time to get to baggage claim and connect to the next flight. Its a long time to hold bags but I believe there is left baggage option. It might be possible for the airline to move checked baggage for you if on the same ticket so check with them.
