About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

How Can I be sure to get 72-144 hours free visa?

I have Airasia tickets Guangzhou-Langkawi 4th of november at 05.55 am, passport valid untill 2023.
Chinese embassy told me: isn't our business, call Guangzhou custom; I called Guangzhou custom, they don't aswer by phone or by email; I called Turkish Airlines they don't know anything; if I wait more time I am not able to do a normal visa. what I have to do?

There is no 144 hours transit without visa at Guangzhou yet, and your stay is too long for the 72 hours transit without visa. Therefore you must either get a visa or change your flights.

That's interesting. It depends on your attitude to risk, but I'd be hesitant to rely on that call. The place that you might face a problem is when you check-in with Turkish Airlines who could refuse to board you if they think you don't meet the requirements for TWOV. You might have to call Guangzhou again from ROM or IST so keep the number handy.
