About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ
Canada to Nepal via Shanghai (72hrs visit) and transfer at Kunming (13hrs stopover) to Katmandhu
We will visit Shanghai for the weekend and then fly to Nepal. I believe this qualifies under the 144hr free transit. Then we fly to Nepal but must stop at Kunming for 13 hours. We would like to check into a hotel in Kunming to sleep before our flight to Nepal. Do we need a VISA?
