144-Hour Visa-Free Transit in China. Can I use the 144 hour twov?

I will arrive in Shanghai from Rome and stay in Shanghai for 70h. Then I will leave for Japan with a cruise that will last 5 days and I will return to Shanghai for another 3 days; later I will return to Rome.
