About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Already have a Chinese visa

Hi there,
I have a flight from France to Australia via Shanghai. My layover is 12h. I already have a multiple-entry visa for China. Do I have to immigrate through the 72-hour visa counter, or can I use the classic "Foreign passport holder" counter to enter the country?
Thanks!
