About:Visa on Arrival

INDONESIA PASSPORT REJECT, EVEN ALREADY HAD CHINESE VISA BEFORE (more than 1 Chinese visa) at LO WU

Today, 4 MAY2023, at LO WU , I’ve been reject, I’m holding Indonesia Passport and already have several past Chinese Visa. When im asking why I cannot apply for VOA, the visa staff just say : INDONESIA PASSPORT CANNOT GET VOA, must apply from indonesia or HK - wanchai. PLEASE BEWARE! So many person from other countries being rejected !

Alva, sometimes it's really a matter of luck whether you can get it or not.

Just 10 days ago, an Indonesian gentleman had successfully obtained a Shenzhen VOA and wrote a wonderful feedback in this forum. In the same time, within the couple of minutes, a Filipino citizen was rejected although he had previously granted Chinese visa.

The situation changes so often and I would say that your and other rejections are probably based on the fact that the pressure on Shenzhen VOA is really above every expectations and the visa offices simply cannot cope with such a demand.

I'm really sorry because of your invested time and expectations that are totally wasted, but at least you have sent others a feedback. All the best!

Actually, obtaining a visa in advance, at China Visa Application Service Center in Hong Kong would be a solution for actual situation where Indonesian citizens are refused Shenzhen VOA. Anyway, you will have to be patient because the pressure is also visible on this institution too.
