About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24hrs and 10min layover in Shanghai, philippine passprt

do I need a visa to stayin a hotel for a layover of 24hr and 10min in shanghai? my flight is coming from toronto to manila

The 24 hours does not start the counting from 00:00 the day following the entry date. So you are not able to use the 24h twov in Shanghai. You need a visa or you need to change your flights.

the airline changed thier schedule. it doesnt make sense with the hassle, the airline gave the hotel accommodation tho..
