Malaysian passport not eligible?

My friend holds a Malaysian passport and it is not included in the participating countries for the 72 hour Transit Visa Exemption. Is there a way to obtain the 72 hour transit visa to Guangzhou?

Sorry, Malaysia is not included in the list of the counties that can be eligible for the 72-hour visa and there is no way to get that. Your friend need to apply for the visa in his/her country in advance.
