About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Travel visa. Do I need a visa and at what cost?

I am a New Zealand citizen and have permanent residence status in Japan. I plan a 5 day visit to Shanghai only.

If the trip is Japan-Shanghai-Japan, you need to apply for a tourist L type for this trip. You may need to pay JPY9,400 per person for that.
