About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello, Traveling to Shanghai

I'll be traveling to Shanghai this week and I was not able to apply for a visa.

Do all I need to do in order to go to Shanghai is:
- Bring my valid Passport for at least 3 months from the date of entry
- Fill out an Arrival/Departure Card once I arrive at check-in at the airport
- Buy an onward ticket with confirmed seat

When you check-in for your flight to Shanghai, you must show your airline a confirmed onward ticket to a third country - and you must fly it. When you arrive in Shanghai, you fill in the arrival card and your onward flight details will be recorded. When you leave Shanghai, they will check that you are flying to the third country and not flying back to your origin.
